Students learn about the ecosystem around them as they hike through the forest. They learn how to identify plants and animals, think critically about the world around them, and discuss the impact of forest fires. If desired, students can begin field notebooks to record their observations about the ecosystem, sketch plants and animals, and identify key adaptations different organisms have.
Lessons & Activities
Plants, animals, trails, sky, the lessons go as far as the group goes.
