Calling all performers – show off your talents, tell a joke, or sing a song. Gather round the campfire for a fun filled evening program. Some programs at Pali are just for fun and enjoyment. We borrowed this one from the traditional “camp” playbook. You can expect your students to be engaged in cheering for their fellow students who will perform skits, show off their talents, or sing instructor led “repeat after me songs.”
What’s Covered
If you choose to do a Variety Show, your school will all be together for this evening activity. Instructors will ask students to sign up for slots at the Variety Show during mealtimes. During the Variety Show, an instructor MC manages the flow of programming. Typically, students sing songs, tell jokes, do impressions, or share a dance routine. Our instructors also have a deep bag of skits, stories, and songs to fill the evening time slot.
Lessons & Activities
Through participating as part of the audience or by sharing a talent students will be encouraged cheer for their fellow classmates and share their talents and hobbies. The lessons and takeaways from this activity will be laughter and memories that last a lifetime.
