Research has been a serious life-passion, sending her to the magical places that make her heart beat, and allowing her to adventure harder than ever before. From the small forests of her college hometown to the majestic White Mountains, Hedi immersed herself in forest ecology in New Hampshire. There she journeyed to the Alaskan wilderness, to study at the arctic research facility before backpacking Denali National Park. Her wild heart led me to the beautiful rivers, mountains, and forests of New Zealand, where she researched ancient frog populations and engaged in outdoor classrooms. She has a serious case of the travel bug doused in wild adventuring, sending her on her way to explore California.
