Pali Institute’s Open House Weekend

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009 by Director

This past weekend, April 24 - 25, 2009, Pali Institute held its annual Spring Open House. Representatives from over 15 schools spent 2 days with us experiencing our Outdoor Education program. From the High Ropes courses to the Aerodynamics demonstration to the Camp Fire, everyone in attendance had a great time.

Pali Institute would like to personally thank Taryn O’Brien from the Chadwick School and Kyle Russo from Bathgate Elementary School for coming out and sharing their Pali experiences with all of our prospective schools. It was a wonderful opportunity for the visiting school representatives to ask questions of two teachers who currently bring their students to Pali. We would also like to thank all of the Pali Institute staff who spent time with our visitors answering questions, giving site tours, and making this participatory experience possible.

If you were unable to visit during our Spring Open House and would like to see our program and facilities, please call Tammy Diezhandino at 909-867-5743 or Raena Stein at 818-774-2189. We are currently taking reservations for the 2009-2010 school year. Space is limited, so secure your spot before it is too late. At Pali Institute, we bring textbooks to life.

Viva Las Vegas

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009 by Director

Well, the weather at Pali has taken a turn for the warmer this week. After receiving a light dusting of snowfall Tuesday night into Wednesday morning of last week, we are experiencing sunshine and HIGHS in the mid 60s to mid 70s. While the temperatures are on the rise, the weather can be unpredictable from day to day, so check the forecast before your scheduled trip.

Pali Institute is also happy to welcome students from Las Vegas this week. Martha P King Elementary School and St. Viator School students are here learning in our beautiful mountain environment. Throughout the rest of this school year and into next, we are tickled to have the opportunity to educate a fast growing number of students from Las Vegas.

Pali Institute is on Spring Break!!!

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009 by Director

Pali Institute is on Spring Break from March 30 - April 3, 2009. We will resume our programming on April 6, 2009 when we have 3 schools arriving. This Spring Break is much deserved after Pali saw over 1,800 students in the month of March. That is an average of 450 students per week. We are proud to say that March 2009 was the busiest month Pali Institute has ever seen.

Take Care, and thank you to everyone who made March 2009 a great success.
